About Us

SATX Youth Bowlers Tour is an established 501(c)(3) Non-Profit USBC Certified Junior Gold Qualifying Tournament Series for Youth Bowlers.     Find our season one financials here

Our format is simple but the conditions will challenge you!  You'll bowl 5 games on a blind Sport Shot and total pinfall will determine the winner in each division.   Each monthly tournament you are competing for 4 things:  winner of the day (1st and 2nd place earn SMART), Junior Gold advancement, Bowler of the Year points and your paid entry into our Tournament of Champions on May 18, 2025.

Our vision is to grow sport bowling amongst youth bowlers by giving them more opportunities to compete near home while preparing for and earning their entry to the Junior Gold National Championships.  Of course, ALL youth bowlers are welcome!

The two things you need to sign up:

1) Current USBC Youth Membership

2) Current Jr. Gold Membership

You can obtain both at www.bowl.com

We wear the ribbon on our jersey as a reminder to be kind, to be a good sport and always encourage one another.
We wear the ribbon in honor and remembrance of a young man who loved bowling, dreamed of running bowling tournaments and was loved by the San Antonio bowling community.   Be kind, always.

Meet The Team

Hello!   We're the team behind SATX Youth Bowlers Tour:  Jodi Mann and Rachel Toney.

We are youth bowling parents who saw a need for more sport bowling in our area and a desire from youth bowlers and parents to attend the National Junior Gold tournament.  Our tour series achieves both:  providing opportunities to qualify as well as experience on sport patterns for new and experienced bowlers.

Rachel is a Bronze level USBC Coach, RVP ( USBC Registered Volunteer Program) and the Youth Director at Oak Hills Bowling Center.    Jodi is RVP and is learning all about this bowling world through her son and others.  They both reside in the San Antonio area.
